In regards to a new body of work, Pa Salieu much be cooking up something magnificent. Back in June, he teamed up with slowthai for the genre-bending cut “Glidin’” — yesterday (Oct. 15), he followed that with “Bad,” a club-ready offering that features fellow British emcee Aitch and sees the two looking to get the party started on wax:

“See, they call me the problem solver, she lovе it when I give her controlla, shе wanna get lit, not sober, give her the Hennessy and cola, young gunner buy land, not Rover, I got hella money left over, I got six figures, no bust down, two will make your girl bend over, see that leng one? She wan’ buss it…”

Directed by KC Locke, the accompanying clip for the Two Inch Punch and WhyJay-produced effort sees Salieu smoking a cigar in a room while a woman moving seductively behind him. Elsewhere, Aitch looks to be taking part in a photoshoot, before enjoying a wine from his love interest in a bathroom. The duo also head outside with some choreographed dancers, complete with black and yellow outfits and a high-end vehicle to match.

For those not familiar, last November saw Pa Salieu deliver one of the best albums of that year with Send Them to Coventry, his official debut project that contained 15 songs and additional contributions from M1llionz, Eight9FLY, BackRoad Gee, Mahalia, Ni Santora, and more. In addition to its top 20 placement on the UK Albums chart, Send Them to Coventry has since earned Salieu a slew of honors, including BBC’s Sound of 2021 and nominations from the BRITs and the Ivor Novello Awards. Last month, Salieu dropped off a short EP titled Afrikan Rebel, featuring collaborations alongside Tay Iwar, Zlatan, and Obongjayar.
