Earlier this month, Meek Mill dropped off his fifth studio LP Expensive Pain, an 18-track offering that saw additional features from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Kehlani, A$AP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Giggs, Young Thug, Vory, Lil Uzi Vert, and Brent Faiyaz. This past weekend, it was revealed that Expensive Pain debuted on the Billboard 200 at number three with 95,000 album equivalent units sold.

Following well-received visuals from the album for “Flamerz Flow,” “Sharing Locations,” “Blue Notes 2,” “On My Soul,” “Intro (Hate On Me),” and the title track comes a new clip for “Angels (RIP Lil Snupe),” an emotionally charged cut that sees Meek rapping about his late artist and song’s namesake, who was tragically killed back in 2013:

“When Snupe died, I was high, shit, I ain’t get to feel it, and I can’t lie, I been on my mind and I ain’t hear this killin’, too many guys been switchin’ sides, it’s only gettin’ realer, look in my eyes, when you see fire, turn me to a villain, all the money deals made me stress more, made it out the hood, they think I’m blessed more…”

The accompanying clip for the Dougie-produced offering comes courtesy of Carters Vision and matches a lot of the aforementioned videos with footage of Meek and his crew living their lives in various locations throughout. Viewers can also see Meek spending time with his children, getting a massage, spraying champagne into the ocean, and more.

As previously reported by REVOLT, Meek Mill further explained the meaning behind Expensive Pain during an interview with “Good Morning Football” host Kay Adams:

“Being at work, away from your family, you might gotta go to work seven days a week, but you want to be in the house with your kid — that’s expensive pain.”
