Key Glock makes his return today (Oct. 1) with a brand new single “Ambition For Cash.” The track is set to appear on the forthcoming Yellow Tape 2, the second installment of his fan-favorite project. On the freshly released “Ambition For Cash,” Key effortlessly rides some production courtesy of Tay Keith:
Still can’t trust a bitch, we servin’/ Yeah, yeah, yeah, Glizock just made a bag, bag, yeah, bag, yeah, bag a bitch bag/ Yeah, n***a I got a real real addiction for this cash (Yeah), I got a real ambition for this cash (Yeah)/ Thirteen years old, where to shoot (Pow, stash)
I’m always up to somethin’, never sitting on my ass, yeah, n***a I got a real real addiction for this cash (Yeah)/ I got a real ambition for this cash (Yeah), thirteen years old, where to shoot (Pow, stash)/ I’m always up to somethin’, never sitting on my ass
Young Dolph and Key Glock dropped off the second installment of their well-received Dum and Dummer series earlier this year in March, which sees 20 new tracks from the Memphis duo. Add to that, they’ve also blessed their fans with top quality visuals for “I’m The Type,” “Aspen,” “Sleep With The Roaches,” “Penguins,” “Rain Rain,” and “Move Around.”
Back in 2019, Glock connected with Dolph for the original Dum and Dummer, a body of work that became his best to date — it landed at the number eight spot of the aforementioned Billboard chart thanks to 45,000 album equivalent units sold. A year later, Glock liberated the mixtapes Yellow Tape and Son of a Gun, two projects that confirmed his talents as a bonafide talent in his own right.
