Late last month, Soulja Boy delivered his long-awaited album Big Draco, which saw 12 tracks with additional features from Tadoe, Desiigner, Omarion, and Bow Wow — the last of whom competed against Soulja in a recent episode of “Verzuz.” This week, the “Crank That” star drops off a new visual from Big Draco for “Lackin’,” which sees him spitting some of his hardest, most street-oriented bars to date:
“Catch a nigga lackin’, up my chopsticks, do a nigga damage, do a nigga dirty, I’ll hit that boy where he hurt, put him on a shirt, smoke him like some purp, smoke him like some zaza, big choppa pop out, bah bah, niggas know what’s happenin’, bout that choppa, bout that static, nigga I’m bringin’ panic…”
Directed by Sheeraz Balushi, the accompanying clip sees Soulja in L.A. with his crew — including his newly-minted SODMG artist Skinnyfromthe9. Soulja Boy & Co. are seen enjoying some smoke in a Sprinter van, hanging with girls on a tour bus, and more.
In addition to “Lackin’,” this past week has also seen Soulja liberating another video for the loose cut “Grand Theft Auto,” a Beatsbyjuko-produced drop that adds in some boastful, melodic lines about his wealthy lifestyle with his more violent subject matter:
“I like to play with them pots, young nigga fishtail right off the lot, yea, call up my jeweler and bust down a watch, I’m on South Beach posted on yachts, if you diss on the gang, you’ll know that yo’ body gon’ rot…”
Sheeraz Belushi handles camera duties for “Grand Theft Auto” as well, which much of the same activities taking place — this time, within what is presumably Soulja’s lavish residence, and will an additional cameo from longtime Young Money talent Lil’ Twist.
Fans can press play on the videos for both “Lackin’” and “Grand Theft Auto” below.
