Tink has made her return with her latest single “Selfish” and she tapped in with Yung Bleu for the assist. A few hours before the release, she teased the drop by posting some behind the scenes photos with Yung Bleu on set, confirming the official music video is coming soon. On the track, Tink rides some smooth production courtesy of Hitmaka:
Maybe I’m just bein’ selfish, maybe I don’t wanna help it/ Do that dance for me and let me look at you, run it back for me, can’t never get enough/ Maybe I’m just bein’ selfish, baby, I don’t wanna help it/ Do that dance for me and let me look at you, run it back for me, can’t never get enough
Ain’t no brakes, need a taste whenever I’m next to you (You)/ Put your hands on my waist, pull me close, make me feel it all/ Throw you back on my bed at (Bed) wrap my legs ‘round your head (Head)
The last project Tink blessed fans with was her A Gift and a Curse EP, which she released on Christmas last year. Prior to that project release, Tink shared her other 2020 body of work release Hopeless Romantic, which was also released on a holiday (Valentine’s Day). In 2020, Tink also released her single “Perfect.” Before that was 2019’s Voicemails, which included a lone feature from Dej Loaf.
Yung Bleu first broke through the mold with his Investments and Bleu Vandross series. Last year, he kicked off quarantine season with the six-track EP Since We Inside — months later, he would liberate Bleu Vandross 3, which saw 17 tracks with contributions from Flo Milli, Boosie Badazz, Yo Gotti, NoCap, Rylo Rodriguez, K Camp, and more. Keeping pressure applied, October would then see the EP Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotions, which housed “You’re Mines Still” — a song that quickly spawned a Drake-assisted remix.
Be sure to press play on Tink’s brand new single “Selfish” featuring Yung Bleu.
