Last month, DJ Khaled blessed the world with his twelfth studio LP KHALED KHALED, a 14-track tour de force that saw plenty of assists from Lil Wayne, Jeremih, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Cardi B, H.E.R., Migos, Rick Ross, Diddy, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone, and more. Recently, it was revealed that he’d earned his third number one with KHALED KHALED, thanks to 93,000 first-week album equivalent units sold. He previously scored that achievement with Major Key and Grateful in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Today, the Miami-based star keeps the momentum going with a new visual for “LET IT GO,” which features 21 Savage and Justin Bieber and sees the artists speaking to things outside of their control:
“I gotta, I gotta, I gotta make my mind up, I’m gon’ grind, gon’ shine until my time’s up, I got money on my mind, is that a crime, yeah? Don’t wanna go back to the days when I was broke, but, girl, you my priority, and I’ll put your heart way over me, and money ain’t shit if I ain’t with you, bae, give it all away just to get you back, can’t put a price on what wе had/”
The accompanying clip for the Al Cres and SkipOnDaBeat-produced cut comes courtesy of Colin Tilley, and pays homage to the classic film Happy Gilmore by putting the collaborators on the golf course. Bieber and 21 Savage can be seen playing a competitive game while a crowd looks on — at one point, Khaled even fights off an alligator to the surprise of those in attendance. As with other clips from KHALED KHALED, “LET IT GO” is also chock-full of product placements, ensuring that Khaled’s money continues to arrive in droves.
