Last month, Coi Leray revealed her latest single “BIG PURR (Prrdd),” which features fellow rising star Pooh Shiesty and sees the two rapping about, well… adult fare over production from Peter Gundry and Kid Hazel:
“Yeah, he call me big purr, come make that pussy purr, the SRT make her get wet, play in that cat while I switch gears, you keep on running from these back shots, pull them tracks out, bitch, come here, yeah, baby, after we fuck, we ain’t gon’ talk ‘bout it, leave right there, tell your bitch she dead, can’t come back here, yeah, he gon’ hit from the back, throw me up in the air/”
Today, Coi Leray and Pooh Shiesty reveal a new music video for the track, which comes courtesy of Reel Goats. The clip begins with scenes of Leray methodically dispatching apparent foes in gory fashion. Meanwhile, her New 1017 cohort can be seen inspecting diamonds and counting money within the very warehouse that Leray descended upon. It all ends with Leray catching her opponent (Shiesty) — for whatever reason, she chooses not to take his life, leaving him where he stands in seductive fashion.
“BIG PURR (Prrdd)” follows January’s “No More Parties,” Leray biggest hit to date — the track landed within the top 30 of the Billboard 200 and has since earned Leray a Gold plaque. Later on, she would team up with Lil Durk for a remix of “No More Parties,” ensuring that the infectious cut will continue to make waves during the hottest months of the year.
In better news, it seems as if Coi Leray and her equally famous father Benzino have found some common ground following a publicized beef, judging from tweets published earlier this month:
