This past weekend, EST Gee dropped off a short new track titled “Lick Back,” which sees production from FOREVEROLLING and Juke Wong and sees the rapper keeping things very street and very straightforward:
“Throw the hood up and then we skirt off, slidin’ in that Trackhawk, all my jewelry on, my shirt off, turn the phone on DND, on silent, all alerts off, this a fast car, but I’m movin’ slow, I like my syrup raw, every nigga ‘round me shoot, they eat and get they merch off, I don’t bark, I bite, I get more paper than yo’ big dog/”
The accompanying clip for “Lick Back” sees EST Gee and his crew riding through the streets in a collection of high end whips — including a bright green Lamborghini Urus that’s impossible to miss. It’s clear that the Louisville, KY rising star is getting his money tenfold.
Back in January, Yo Gotti took to social media to reveal that EST Gee had become the newest member of his Collective Music Group imprint, stating, “I know a star and hustler when I see one and EST Gee is up next … He got what it takes.” The deal also came with 750 thousand American dollars in cash as an insane welcome gift:
Last year saw EST Gee liberating his latest project I Still Don’t Feel Nun, the presumed sequel to 2019’s Ion Feel Nun. The project saw 16 dope cuts and featured appearances from Gotti, 42 Dugg, Babyface Ray, Jack Harlow, Moneybagg Yo, YFN Lucci, and Kevin Gates. He’s also been busy contributing his bars to other tracks, including Nyketown Ju’s “8 Minutes,” Bankroll Freddie’s “Real Street Nigga,” Myke Rob’s “Fishscale Dreams,” Lil Migo’s “By Yo Side,” and Lil Baby’s “Real As It Gets.” Hopefully, he’s preparing us all for a new body of work.
