K Camp has always made sure to keep his supporters well-fed with his loose freestyles in between official drops, a habit his fanbase has always appreciated. Following previously released cuts such as his “Don’t Drink Dasani (Freestyle)” and his remix of Coi Leray’s “No More Parties,” his newest offering is the freshly released “Do It From The Heart.” In the Lil Lilxpicasso-directed clip, K Camp is alone with himself and his thoughts as he lets the beat ride:
Do you know how it feel to be alone, do you know how it feel to have the world on your shoulders and still get hit by stones?/ All eyes on me but I ain’t throwin’ up the West ‘cause the Northside still my home/ Tryna cover up wounds from the past but this shit run deep in the bones/ Pick up the phone, I be going through some things but I never complain/ It’s too much on my heart, it’s too much on my brain.
Back in November, K Camp dropped off his “Genuine Love (Freestyle)” to hold fans over until the release of the deluxe version of his KISS 5 project, which includes six additional tracks and a new feature from Sevyn Streeter. KISS 5 is the final installment of his series and included features from Ari Lennox, Jeremih, Yella Beezy, Yung Bleu, Wale, 6lack, and more. In July, K Camp released RARE Family as a follow up project to keep the momentum going.
At the top of this month, K Camp and his RARE Sound label doubled back on their aforementioned July compilation project and released a deluxe version. The team blessed fans with Rare Family (Reloaded), which boasts cuts like “Step Out The Lamb.” The track sees K Camp and True Story Gee teaming up for a brand new music video as well. The Reloaded version adds on eight new tracks, bringing the total to a 20-song tracklist.
