The past several months have been pretty amazing for Flo Milli, who liberated her debut mixtape Ho, Why Is You Here? back in July, along with viral videos for “Like That Bitch,” “Weak,” and “Send The Addy/May I.” The Mobile, Alabama rising star also liberated a slew of loose cuts — including “My Attitude” and “Eat It Up” — and collaborated with the likes of $NOT, Savannah Christina, Yung Baby Tate, Pia Mia, and Trap Beckham.
Following January’s “Roaring 20s” and her standout appearance on Rich The Kid’s “Nasty” with Mulatto and Rubi Rose, Flo Milli returns with a new drop titled “Back Pack,” which sees her matching hard-hitting bars over deceptively light-hearted production courtesy of Yung Glizzy:
“Keep talkin’ shit, it can get lit, you know I’m petty don’t try me lil’ bitch, I’m bougie and rich, tell her get off my clit, this ho think I’m playin’, do I look like a kid?
Pull out that chopper bitch, let’s make a hit, I’m peepin’ her out, number one on my list, red beam in the door, when I aim I don’t miss, don’t open yo’ lip, ’cause I just might reach in my backpack/”
Directed by J Visuals, the accompanying clip for the track takes from the popular cartoon “Dora the Explorer,” and mixes animation with shots of Flo Milli performing the track in what looks like different parts of Los Angeles.
Last year, REVOLT named Flo Milli as one of the “Women To Watch,” citing her breakout hit “In The Party” and subsequent ascension career-wise:
“Flo raps eloquently over the bopping beat, demonstrating the skills she’s been perfecting since age 11. The artist hit the mainstream after going viral on Twitter and she’s earned a host of new supporters.”
