As promised, Drakeo The Ruler has delivered another project today Feb 23. THE TRUTH HURTS is a 17-track body of work that boasts a dope list of guest appearances. The names include Drake, Don Toliver, Icewear Vezzo, SaySoTheMac, Damon Elbert, the late Ketchy The Great, and a few others. Production is handled by heads like RonRonTheProducer, bankroll got it, Dusebeatz, Lowthegreat, JTG Beatz, and more.

The track currently creating some of the most buzz is the Drake-assisted “Talk To Me” joint. On the track, Drakeo slides in after the catchy hook and gets straight to it:

Don’t be shy, I got killers with me, stupid, I march with sticks, I ain’t worried bout no groupies/ I know you want me ‘cause your BD is a goofy. Boss you up, your lifestyle could be exclusive. But I don’t know, ‘cause you be hangin’ ‘round with losers/ Internet trolls and niggas tryna do me/ 650S, bitch, I feel like Lil Boosie, you want me, so do all your friends, is you stupid?/

It hasn’t been too long since Drakeo’s last bodies of work prior to this new drop. Drakeo the Ruler celebrated his birthday just a few months ago by dropping his We Know The Truth mixtape at the top of December and he followed up swiftly with the deluxe version with an additional seven tracks. The original release We Know The Truth included guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Tee Grizzley, Rich The Kid, and Lil Mosey as well as fellow members of the Stinc Team (Rassy Bugatti, Ketchy The Great, and Ralfy The Plug) with the deluxe edition boasting additional features from Sean Kingston and Shoreline Mafia’s OhGeesy.

Afterwards, he reached back into the vault and shared a 2020 buzzer beater project, this time the 15-track body of work titled Because Y’all Asked. In terms of visuals, Drakeo has given us plenty from both projects, including ones for cuts like “Polar Bear,” “Captions,” “Mr. Mosley Claps Back,” “20 Pieces,” “In My Rear,” and plenty more.
