On Sunday (Feb. 21), reports began circulating that a music video shoot with 42 Dugg and Roddy Ricch was the scene of gunfire that broke out, which allegedly left a total of three people wounded. When this info started to spread on the internet, it wasn’t confirmed exactly who the three injured victims were. This left many fans of the two recording artists worried that these people were actually them. However, all seems to be well with the stars.
According to members of the Atlanta police department, Dugg and Ricch were not in harm’s way and are perfectly fine. “Atlanta police have confirmed that neither Roddy Ricch or 42 Dugg were injured in the shooting. Antoine Blake and Vernon Moulder have been identified as the victims,” hip hop outlet XXL Magazine reports.
“Both remain hospitalized in stable condition. Another individual, Peter Cook, was initially believed to have been grazed by a bullet. But upon further evaluation by paramedics it was confirmed that he sustained a laceration from a piece of debris.”
On top of this confirmation, Dugg later went on IG Live with his friend, fellow recording artist Lil Baby, to show his fans that he was 100 percent straight. “Y’all stop with that fake shit, man. We ain’t been around no gun shooting, none of that,” Dugg admitted. “Real talk, man. We good…Thanks for the love, though. I appreciate the love, though.” Peep that below.
As for Ricch, a friend of his tweeted that he was unharmed, as well, which relaxed the minds of many of the star’s fans who were stressing about his current condition and well-being. “My nigga Roddy good, all the homies good,” A-Tron wrote on Twitter. Check that reveal below.
All is well with the two, ladies and gentlemen. Now back to your regular scheduled programming…
