The third and final installment of the Migos’ Culture series is almost here. The release date of the super group’s Culture III has been a topic of discussion for years. However, according to Quavo, the long-awaited album is slated to arrive before the summer.
On Sunday (Feb. 14), paparazzi caught up with Quavo and Saweetie as they were leaving a restaurant after their Valentine’s Day date. The masked couple posed for photos and fielded questions from photographers, one of which was about when fans can expect Migos’ next Culture entry.
“It’s coming real soon,” Quavo told paparazzi about the album. “Less than a month and a half.”
Back in January, Migos celebrated the three-year anniversary of Culture II. The trio shared a making-of clip and said their follow-up to the effort was “coming.”
“3 Years Ago Culture II Dropped. We want to thank the fans and everyone on our team that helped us get to where we are today,” Migos wrote in an Instagram post. “New Music OTW So Stay Tuned!”
The trio began steadily dropping hints about Culture III after releasing the second installment in 2018.
“I’m excited about the Migos project… We haven’t dropped in two years,” Quavo told Business Insider back in December of 2019. “… I feel like it’s more about Migos that y’all don’t know yet. And I feel like this album is going to be prolific. I feel like this album is going to be the album to do it.”
Offset also told the outlet Culture III may see a posthumous feature from Juice WRLD.
“I got this song called ‘What’s Brackin’ with him and I’m probably gonna put that shit on Culture III,” he revealed. “He gonna [go] ape shit on that thing.”
