This month, Netflix will premiere an Indian drama titled The White Tiger, which stars Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra, and Rajkummar Rao — the film is based off of a 2008 novel of the same name. Accompanying the international flick will be a soundtrack, and — this past weekend — Netflix unveiled a new cut from the forthcoming compilation from Indian artist DIVINE titled “Jungle Mantra,” which also features Pusha T and Vince Staples.

Produced by Karan Kanchan, the track sees the three emcees bringing their respective “jungles” to life on wax:

“Yeah, gotta get mine, any means, never sleep, I don’t get tired, feeling big time, I don’t want a penny pinch, tryna flip dimes, what’s your life like? Here’s mines, highspeed chase, ever seen pigs fly?

Slaves to the bag, just hatin’ my blackness all ‘cross the atlas, fatal attraction, money like magnets, yeah, I gotta have it, I’m a fanatic…/”

Signed to Mass Appeal India, last year saw DIVINE releasing his latest project Punya Paap, which saw 11 tracks and additional features from Nas, Dutchavelli, Cocoa Sarai, Stylo G, MC Altaf, and more. Prior to that, he liberated Kohinoor, which — in addition to an interlude from Nas — saw collaborations with the likes of Dave East, Shah Rule, Sanjoy, and Sid Sriram.

From a music release standpoint, both Pusha T and Vince Staples have been rather dormant by comparison. Staples released his last body of work, the well-received FM!, back in 2018, landing the Long Beach star on the top of several best-of list for that period. In the same year, Pusha T brought hip hop to a proverbial halt with Daytona, which was part of a group of short-play albums produced by Kanye West.
