Benny Soliven and Joe Maynor are teaming up for their Joe & Benny project, and they’ve enlisted the help of fellow artist Phora to kick off the process. Their new collaboration track “2x” just arrived paired with a music video to set the tone. The visual takes place in an extravagant mansion during a party set in the flapper era. Surrounded by their guests decked out in top hats and feather boas, Phora slides in with his feature about an ideal night:

Benny Soliven could be hear on plenty of singles during 2020, including “Go Dumb,” “Go Girl,” “My Type,” “No Hands” and Put You On.” Joe Maynor unleashed his Maybach Dreams project last year, which included features from Future Cities, Benny Soliven, Slimmy B, and Turbin.

In November, Phora released his album With Love II via his own imprint Yours Truly Records, now an independent artist after spending a chunk of his career with Warner Records. In celebration of the release, he shared an official lyric video of one of the stand-out tracks “This Weekend” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The project was preceded by singles like “Stars In The Sky” feat. Jhene Aiko, “Cupid’s Curse” feat. Kehlani, and the visual for “Traumatized” feat. Toosii.
