Its only been a few days since Toosii blessed fans with his remix of Yung Bleu’s “You’re Mines Still,” but he keeps his foot on the gas by releasing another music video. The freshly dropped “What Go Around,” where Toosii goes in about what goes up must come down:
I ain’t a fake friend, I’m a real friend, if they spinning, I’ma kill shit. Is it bad I don’t know what real is? They say love is not what the mind say, it’s what the heart say. So when I speak, they gon’ feel this. Sneak diss, he on creep shit, yeah. Fuck a taco Tuesday, we gon’ slide on a week, yeah. This for all them times I put my heart to the back. I ain’t got heart, I got a mind, having a heart get you whacked. Rather have sense now, ride with a stick now, yeah. Rap niggas in the game getting gunned down, yeah. Said that we won’t fight, but we bump, thеy gon’ shoot. What go around gon’ come around, hope we don’t bump into you.
Most recently, Toosii can be heard assisting Amine on the new freshly released deluxe version of his LIMBO album, Smoove’L’s new debut album Ice Cups and Shootouts, and also Stunna 4 Vegas on his recent Welcome To 4 Vegas project, Stunna Gambino’s new single “Rivals,” and also Queen Naija’s recent project on the track titled “One Time.” His last full length body of work was Poetic Pain, which was released in September and included the aforementioned “Love Cycle” single. Prior to Poetic Pain, Toosii dropped his project Platinum Heart earlier this year in February and gifted fans with the deluxe version as well, both versions containing no features.
Platinum Heart (Deluxe) charted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums tally and also entered the Billboard 200. Aside from basking in his consistency this year, Toosii recently gained yet another reason to be proud. His single “Love Cycle” featuring Summer Walker is on its way to receiving its Gold certification, and he recently tweeted hopefully the accolade will be officially solidified by his birthday on Jan 9.
