We’re hours away from the highly anticipated Jeezy and Gucci Mane Verzuz battle, and Gucci is not ready to let up on the jokes. In his most recent promo for tonight’s competition, he posted an animated video that shows the weather transition from a snowstorm to a sunny day. As the sun — implanted with Gucci’s face — shines, the snowman, which represents Jeezy, quickly melts. After it dissolves, an ice cream truck pulls up to the spot and Gucci is seen smiling with multiple ice cream cones in hand.

Last night (Nov. 18), the “Freaky Gurl” rapper poked fun at Jeezy’s fashion sense as he confirmed their upcoming the Verzuz battle.

“Aye, check this out,” he said as he ran down a steep cliff. “For everybody who’s asking me, right? The Verzuz is real. Me and Snow Cone will be in the same room. But this what I wanna know, right? Is fashion a part of the Verzuz? ’Cause I’ma have that shit on tomorrow. And if buddy have that same funny-ass shirt and that dumbass hat he had on that goddamn album cover, I ain’t doing it.”

The post was the second time the “1017” rapper referred to Jeezy as “Snow Cone.” The first mention was in the caption of the official Verzuz announcement, and it was met with Jeezy’s own retort. “SAY lil guwop SEE YOU ON THE 19th,” the “Soul Survivor” star wrote. “DON’T SEND YA CLONE! BIG SNO.”

The Gucci Mane and Jeezy Verzuz battle is coming to fruition after initial reports that the “Lemonade” emcee was not interested in sparring with the Snowman. As REVOLT previously reported, Jeezy told “The Breakfast Club” that he pitched the idea of battling Gucci to Swizz Beatz, but was told he “respectfully declined.” Now, it seems he is eager for the showdown. Tune into tonight (Nov. 19) at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT to see the two trap legends go head-to-head.
