Just last week, Doe Boy and Southside revealed the latest visual from their Demons R Us project for the Lil Uzi Vert-assisted “Bussin.” They’re now back to present the video for “7 Days A Week,” which sees Doe Boy getting straight to it, referencing some of his favorite sports stars along the way:
“Catch somebody in Cleveland, I might post up at Lebron crib, or I might go to Odell Beckham house, ooh I’m flexing now. That bitch who love a group, she just happy with me texting now. Them boys in the hood, Murderland, we bring them stretchers out. He said Doe let me out, you know I let him out. ’Cause I can’t ride in traffic with no n***a that ain’t bout it. Shot him in his face, surprised they knew him when they found him.”
Earlier this month, Doe Boy and Southside released their collab project Demons R Us, which sees 19 tracks and features from Trippie Redd, Swae Lee, 42 Dugg, Young Nudy, Chief Keef, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and more. Before the recent videos for “7 Days A Week” and “Bussin,” fans got to see visuals from Demons R Us for “Stimulus Check,” “Yessirski,” “Tweakin,” and “Yesterday.” Prior to that, Doe Boy teamed up with DJ Esco for the 9-track mixtape 56 Birdz in March. The Cleveland star has also recently Dave East for “Said What I Said,” which can be found on Karma 3.
During a previous interview, Doe Boy reflected on what Future told him about his project:
“One day I posted the first cover of Streetz Need Me 2, it’s Doughboy from the Boyz n the Hood movie going to jail when he was a kid. Future called me like, ‘Man, I just painted a whole picture in my head. You gotta make the project sound like that old school Eazy E and Ice Cube. You gotta hurry up and do it.’ I told him he was right. All history does is repeat itself. If I didn’t do it, somebody was going to do it, and soon.”
