Now, Amadeus delivers a second full-length body of work titled Three Summers, which represents the three years that Amadeus has been creating music. The project was accompanied by a short video that sees him detailing his journey thus far, as well as his inspirations moving forward:
Three Summers contains 11 tracks and assists from QK Owens and past collaborator Prohaize, who also joined Jorge Amadeus on the Winter In The Summertime cut “January 27.” One particular standout from Three Summers is the melodic “Side Hoe,” which sees Amadeus harmonizing about the peculiar qualities of a certain lover:
“She don’t wanna cook and clean, she don’t wanna do nothing, but she wanna go on shopping sprees, running through the mall to get her things, and she got me going insane, when we travel she want everything/
When we travel she want new s***, new crib, nice whip, iced out, iced wrist … she’s just a side hoe…/”
The track also comes accompanied with a music video that matches the vibe, which Amadeus in a lavish residence putting in work for a woman that only seems to want to relax. The DMV-L.A. artist even breaks out a massage table for the clip’s co-star.
