Earlier this month, Gucci Mane formally introduced the world to his New 1017 collective with So Icy Gang (Vol. 1), which sees 19 cuts and features from Pooh Shiesty, Tay Keith, K Shiday, Enchanting, Big30, Roboy, Big Scarr, Quentin Miller, Veeze, Key Glock, and more. This past weekend, he liberated another visual from the compilation for the solo track “CEO Flow,” which is produced by ZenTachi, Dat Boi Squeeze, and 30 Roc. As the song title reveals, Guwop has little problem reminding the listener how dope he is overall:
“I fly to Dubai so much, I need a camel or somethin’, so fly I might need me a camera, pour out my heart, talk shop with the mammals, s***ted on the parking lot, might need a Pamper or somethin’, hands on my d*** like a ransom or somethin’/
Countin’ up money romantic to her, think I might purchase her panties or somethin’, her man is a bum and she still in the slums, all these guns like the Navy or somethin’, people lookin’ at me like I’m crazy or somethin’…/”
The video is directed by Jordan Spencer and shows Gucci Mane riding around his East Atlanta stomping grounds in a red Rolls Royce convertible. Along his journey, he gets spotted and stopped by fans, hits up what is presumed to be the Texaco gas station from his former life on the streets, and more. He even gets a COVID-19 test, something that I would imagine is pretty important in a city that looks to have opened back up even as the pandemic continues.
“CEO Flow” follows the previously released video for the Foogiano and Mulatto-assisted “Meeting.” Gucci Mane has also recently contributed to other tracks such as Rico Nasty’s “Don’t Like Me,” Bankroll Fresh’s “Fresh As F***,” and Doja Cat’s “Like That.”
