Today, the world is finally able to enjoy Bryson Tiller’s new album A N N I V E R S A R Y, which was preceded by the singles “Always Forever” and “Inhale.” The ten-track offering also sees a new collaboration with Drake titled “Outta Time,” which fans heard earlier in the week during a surprise Zoom listening session.
The official rollout began with a promo visual on social media, which first revealed that the follow-up to True To Self would not be titled Serenity as previously expected. Speaking to Billboard, Tiller revealed the difference between the sophomore release and A N N I V E R S A R Y:
“This album is a different energy. There’s a clear difference with this album and True To Self, because at that time I didn’t want to make an album. It was two years after T R A P S O U L came out and I was going through a lot of s… — like, legal stuff and personal stuff. I didn’t really want to create an album at that time … before [True To Self] even came out, I didn’t want it out. It was my C-game. I can’t afford to bring my C-game now — not for my two daughters. It’s just my A-game here on out.”
In additional to his third studio LP, Bryson Tiller also blessed his fans with a deluxe version of T R A P S O U L, which added four new cuts, including The Weeknd-assisted “Rambo (Last Blood).” This year also saw Tiller drop the loose tracks “Slept On You” and the Lil Yachty-assisted “For Nothing.”
