Following the apparent break up of his crew, YBN Nahmir returns with a hard-hitting new single titled “Pop Like This,” which sees production from Hitmaka and TNB Beatz and sees additional assistance from Yo Gotti. The track makes for the perfect strip club anthem thanks to the adult subject matter contained within:
“Blow the back of the b***h, if she pop that s***, thirty M’s, on the wrist, just to flaunt that s***, my ex never had a n***a kick her out of the crib, she belong to everybody with that weak ass s***/
Ayy baby twerk, bust it open, how she pop them hips, broke boys be in the back, know they don’t be on s***, lyin’ from the college, name was Amy, smart b***h but the head game goin’ crazy…/”
The accompanying visual is directed by Jesse Ray Diamond and adds to the vibe with some friendly warehouse twerking from a few beautiful women around the performing artists. It’s definitely a track made for the party vibe, which for many still remains on halt due to the quarantine.
“Pop Like This” follows previously released loose singles like “2 Seater” with G-Eazy and Offset, “Talkin,” “Baby 8,” and the City Girls and Tyga-assisted “F*** It Up.” The aforementioned offerings are also expected to appear on YBN Nahmir’s forthcoming debut album Visionland, which he announced on his social media.
It was also social media that Nahmir used to reveal what is presumed to be the end of the Young Boss N***as collective as fans currently see it, parting ways with YBN Almighty Jay and the simply named Cordae:
“They left this YBN shit in the gutter. Remember that. I’ll turn it up myself … it’s only me…”
