Blueface is looking to keep his momentum going following the March release of his studio debut Find The Beat. First, he delivers another visual from the album for the Manzo, Bighead, and Synco-produced “Murder Rate,” which features assistance from Chicago star Polo G and keeps the subject matter very street:
“I done lost 8K at the telly, was gone off the Xannys, I took about three nap, out in Malibu cappin’ off X, and I crashed the i8, I just hope I don’t relapse/
That lil’ n***a ain’t livin’ what he rap, when we pop out, b***h, you know that we strapped, let off clips on your block, let the heat clap, I’m not gon’ turn on the news for a recap/
Ayy, damn, foenem got the jakes hot in the hood again, my lil’ shawty done tied up his hood again, let him pick out his pipe and he took the SIG…/
The video keeps things simple, with Blueface, Polo G, and their respective crews living it up in a mansion, decked in plenty of jewels and high-end threads. That clip is accompanied by another for the fresh cut “Finesse The Beat,” which is expected to appear on Blueface’s forthcoming project Famous Cryp Reloaded. While the clip is equally as flashy as its companion (add in some eye candy and nice cars), “Finesse The Beat” sees him once again making light of his reputation for having an off-kilter flow, done over Scum Beatz’ minimal production:
“Hol’ on, you hear that? I just found the f***in’ beat, quick to f*** your ho and tell your ho to f***in’ leave/
Never sweet to hoes, ho get up out my suite, you can’t get your phone back ‘til your Uber in the streets/”
