Styles P has been a well-respected lyrical force in hip hop for a very long time now and his legendary status continues to load by the years. The New York tyrant has contributed more to the industry than one could imagine and these days, he still proves that he’s one of the best to ever step in the booth. Last month, Styles took to his social media accounts to announce the release of his 13th studio album Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm. Today, he follows through on this promise and it is indeed, a breath of fresh air for true hip hop heads.

Laced with a total of 15 records, The LOX rapper delivers yet another compelling performance that will undoubtedly stand the test of time in years to come. Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm contains some reputable features from the likes of ItsTheReal, Whispers, Snyp Life, Cassandra The Goddess, Dyce Payne, and none other than his fellow LOX members Sheek Louch and Jadakiss.

With Styles P easily being one of the most consistent voices in the game, this album is an important piece of hip hop and further adds to The Ghost’s already cemented legacy. The intense lyricism displayed in the stand-out single “Time” is an indicator of the form of unapologetic and raw, gritty rhymes that’s found throughout the project. It’s soul-triggering messages has a way of resonating with those that it’s intended for and though it may get overlooked in the modern day masses, Styles P indeed deserves his flowers while they’re still fresh.

With Jadakiss dropping off his sixth studio album Ignatius earlier this year and Styles P delivering Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm today, all we need is a Sheek Louch album to drop sometime this year and the puzzle will be complete for the culture.
