Lil Baby has shared the tracklist for his forthcoming sophomore album, My Turn. The “Drip Too Hard” rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday (Feb. 18) to reveal his upcoming project’s details.
“‘My Turn’ 2.28.20 My Best Work To Date!” he captioned a photo of the record’s cover art. “Pre – Order Available Now !! Let’s Get Bacc To It.”
Serving as the follow-up to 2018’s Street Gossip, the record is set to include features from Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug and Rylo Rodriguez. The previously released “Woah,” “Sum 2 Prove” and Queen & Slim: The Soundtrack cut “Catch the Sun” will also appear on the project.
Despite not releasing a full-length album last year, Baby enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame with the success of his 2018 singles “Yes Indeed” featuring Drake and “Drip Too Hard” featuring Gunna. Two years ago, he released his debut album Harder Than Ever, followed by his Drip Harder and Street Gossip mixtapes.
Most recently, Baby dropped off his album cut “Sum 2 Prove,” which he followed up with an accompanying visual this week. Directed by Jon J., the clip matched Baby’s lyrics in expressing how far he’s come.
Leading up to his debut album Harder Than Ever, the Atlanta-bred upstart spoke with Hot 107.9 about his burgeoning career.
“[Quality Control founder] Coach K, he’d always be like, ‘You need to rap,’ when I was like 13, 14. I ain’t never [rapped]. People kept saying, ‘You need to rap,” he revealed. “[Harder Than Ever] is my album, though. It’s an album, it ain’t a mixtape.”
“I stand out different, already. I ain’t like the rap dudes… [the rap] lifestyle ain’t new to me,” he continued. “It’s another level, but it ain’t new to me.”
My Turn is expected to arrive next Friday (Feb. 28). Revisit Baby’s “Sum 2 Prove” video below.
