Safaree and Erica Mena have welcomed their baby girl.

Safaree shared the news via Instagram with a photo of their newborn’s hand holding his finger. He captioned the photo, “These past 24 hrs have been an adventure to say the least!! I’m a part of the #girldad club now 🙏🏾. Perfection is here ❤️ .”

Safaree had to cancel a gig in Rhode Island because Erica’s water broke. He annnounced the cancellation on his Instagram story. “Sorry for everyone who came out to see in Rhode Island last night, as I was getting ready to leave my wife’s water broke,” he wrote.

The two shared the news of the pregnancy back in October, and Safaree said that he was nervous to become a father.

“Wow, wow, it’s a big deal! Very big deal. I didn’t know I was capable of doing this. I’m excited!” Safaree said in the video. “I’m nervous. I’m in shock. I’m in disbelief. It’s very surreal to me. I don’t know what to do but I know I’m going to be great at what I do, because I’m great at everything.”

The “Love and Hip Hop” couple threw a Met Gala-themed baby shower for their princess. Erica showed off her gown for the event.

“The perfect Met Gala Baby Shower dress. Special thank you to @karensabagofficial for making this dress Saturday morning starting at 5am. You went up and beyond last minute and made sure I had the perfect dress. Thank you to my sis @remyma who picked up my late night call and made this all happen. From you, Karen and her amazing Mother. I so thank you Queens. You are all so appreciated,” Erica wrote on Instagram.

This will be Safaree’s first child. Erica has a 12-year-old son from a previous relationship. Erica keeps her son off social media and out of the the reality television world, so it’s possible that she will do the same for her daughter.
