Since Tekashi 6ix9ine has been locked up for over a year, current photos of the incarcerated rapper have been hard to come by. However, a new photo arrived to Instagram on Tuesday (Jan. 21), courtesy of 6ix9ine’s girlfriend, Jade.

“They kidnapped you, they had sex with the mother of your child, they get caught on the phone trying to kill you & their stealing millions of dollars from you,” she captioned a photo of the two posing together, while 6ix9ine donned a white prison jumpsuit and faded braids.

Last month, 6ix9ine was sentenced to 24 months in prison with five years supervised release in his racketeering and gun case. He faced a maximum sentence of 47 years, but his sentence was dramatically reduced due to his cooperation with the federal government.

“If you snitch, for the rest of your life people are gonna try to kill you for being a rat but if you don’t snitch, you’re doing 47 years in prison where they’re gonna kill you anyway because they were already talking about it,” Jade continued her post.

Due to safety concerns, 6ix9ine previously attempted to transition from his private prison to serve out the remainder of his sentence at home. However, earlier this week, Judge Paul Engelmayer ruled that he would have to continue his sentence in prison, citing that his crimes were too serious to allow any leniency.

“Sammy the Bull kills 19 people and gets 5 years. You kill no one and gets 2 years. This sh*t is so fu**ed up,” Jade’s post concluded. “LMFAOOO they can’t break you, no one understands why people still love you and support you.”

6ix9ine was credited 13 months time served toward his sentence, putting his release date around November 2020. However, his lawyer previously predicted he will be released by next summer, due to the 85 Percent Rule.
