Last month, Dreamville unleashed their highly anticipated compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers, hailing 18 tracks with 35 features from some the biggest names in hip hop. Now, the track “Sacrifices” get the visual treatment featuring EARTHGANG, J. Cole, Smino, and Saba.

Directed by Scott Lazer, David Peters (ROTD3 documentary) and Chad Tennies, the six and a half-minute video begins with EARTHGANG member, Johnny Venus, performing the record in an abandoned warehouse with graffiti on the walls. He croons, “I make sacrifices, bloody sacrifices / Cutthroat, rabbit's toe, I suppose / Maybe that's what life is” — setting the mood of the entire clip to follow. The record is a reflection of all the sacrifices one may take in life to obtain their dreams (for Dreamville, the goal is to be at the very top).

Smino enters on the third verse dripping in a red and multi-colored rainbow fit, talking about why he’s one of the best to come out of the North Side of St. Louis. Saba adds his Chicago flavor shedding light on his come up from dropping out of school, and now rocking with one of the best rap crews to date.

Of course, the song would not be what it was without the Dreamville founder adding his two sense. Coming in hot on verse five, Cole brings it home with a grand finale. Every bar captures the reality of what happens when you work hard and dedicate your living life for what you're truly passionate about. For Cole, it's music.

At the end, audiences are left with a message that states, “Dedicated to Milton Ahdwele Fann and all those who have passed on.” This visual not only stars real name Olu, Venus’ own mother, but is dedicated to his late father.

ROTD3 has already received Gold certification, which was a no-brainer with the success of lead single “Middle Child” by J. Cole.
