According to a new report from The Blast, which was published yesterday (July 16), the couple's two-year-old son will inherit cash from the late rapper's estate. Following Hussle's untimely death, London filed for guardianship of their son. According to the news outlet, London wrote that Kross is "anticipated to inherit approximately One Million Dollars at the close of" Hussle's estate. London will continue to look out for the "best interests" of their child as he reives the inheritance from his deceased father.
Following The Blast's report, London's management issued a statement regarding the matter. "This is a private matter and Lauren has not and will not make any statements. We asked that everyone respect their need for privacy. Thank you," the statement reads.
Last month, on Father's Day, London honored her late boyfriend with a heartfelt Instagram post. "One of the reasons I fell in Love with You.... Your Fatherhood," she wrote as the caption. "Today we celebrate You. Love you Ermias." The post was accompanied by a photograph of the couple holding their two-year-old son.
Unfortunately, things haven't been smooth sailing for The Victory Lap rapper's firstborn, Emani Asghedom. Samantha Smith, Nip's sister, has been working relentlessly to keep custody of her niece. Hussle's family believes that Tanisha Foster, Emani's mother, is unfit to take care of the 10-year-old.
Foster has an 18-year-old daughter who has a history of juvenile facilities and a 17-year-old son who has reportedly been moving from countless homes. In addition to that, Foster's son has an inconsistent school attendance record.
Despite the legal battle, Emani appears to be focused on what matters most. Last month, she graduated from elementary school. During the ceremony, Emani paid homage to her late father.
"I want to begin by sharing my thankfulness for my mom for believing in me, and my dad, for always being there for me," Emani said.
