After being arrested and detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement earlier this year, 21 Savage found solace in laughing at some of the memes that had surfaced in response.

However, now that months have passed and the Atlanta-based rapper's future in the United States still remains uncertain, his sense of humor when it comes to poking fun at the serious matter has become less generous.

On Tuesday (June 11), 21 Savage promoted his new interview with Paper Magazine on Instagram, during which he details some of the conditions he faced while he was detained by ICE and explains how difficult it was being away from his children during that time.

In response to his Instagram, a woman made fun of 21 Savage, who reportedly was originally born in the U.K., and the rapper promptly clapped back.

In his caption, 21 Savage references being based in East Atlanta, resulting in a fan trolling him. "You from the UK where y'all have knights and swords," the fan, user @pariss_darapper wrote in the comments section.

As it turns out, the comment caught 21 Savage's eye, and he decided to respond with a clap back of his own. He saw that on her profile, her bio identifies her as an up-and-coming rapper and a truck driver, leading 21 to clown her for her job title. The comment was deleted shortly thereafter, but not before a screenshot preserved its hilarity.

While 21 Savage has admitted some of the memes about his current situation with ICE have been undeniably funny, it's clear the rapper draws the line when it comes to questioning how East Atlanta helped make him.
