With so many new rap albums, mixtapes, EPs and songs dropping every week; knowing which ones are worth your time can be a challenge. But no worries, we'll help smooth out the process with "Now N' Laters," a column that highlights the hottest new releases of the week and the songs you'll want to listen to now — and later.

This go-round, our lineup consists of a few new project releases. Buzzing Floridian artist Smokepurpp comes through with his new project Lost Planet, which should tide fans over until the release of his forthcoming album. Washington D.C.'s own Shy Glizzy crashes the party with his latest body of work Covered N Blood, which looks to build upon the rapper's reputation for delivering quality material. And last but not least, incarcerated rapper 03 Greedo unleashes Still Summer in the Projects, his first release since entering the prison system last year.

With all of these releases getting airplay and dominating the conversation, REVOLT shares some critics' picks for songs from each project that stand a cut above the rest and should be in your heavy rotation now -- and later. Be sure to let us know what your favorites are.

Smokepurpp: Lost Planet

"Baguettes"

Smokepurpp commences the proceedings on his new project with this slick track that finds the Floridian talking over heavy guitar licks and booming 808s. Produced by Tony Seltzer and A Lau -- and featuring a guest appearance from Gunna -- this tune is yet another collaborative effort from Purpp that showcases his ability to coexist and flourish alongside his peers.

"Chandelier"

Smokepurpp and Lil Pump continue to position themselves as artists to look out for in rap with their latest collaborative effort. Producer Thank You Fizzle provides plenty of bass to spare with this sparse instrumental, which finds Florida's favorite partners-in-crime running up a ticket while getting their shine on.

"Throw Away"

Kenny Beats and A Lau connect to build a riotous composition with Smokepurrp, who details his routine before shutting down the stage. Gliding over the production with effortless finesse, Smokepurrp turns in what may be the most infectious performance out of his most recent batch of tracks.

Shy Glizzy: Covered N Blood

"Demons"

Shy Glizzy serves up a salvo for the hustlers and goons to ride out to with this early highlight from the star's latest collection. Produced by Supah Mario, who crafts a thunderous instrumental for Glizzy to speak his piece over, this stands as one of the more impressing moments on the album.

"Big Dipper"

Geraldo Live provides the sonic backdrop to this somber selection, on which the Glizzy Gang leader touches on the harsh realities of life in his hood. Powered by an infectious hook, Glizzy compares his ability to flip the pack and ball out to a Los Angeles Laker, as he delivers yet another standout offering.

"Panicking"

Shy Glizzy addresses the groupies and the opps on this 808-driven number from the D.C. rapper's first full-length offering of 2019. Produced by Sonny Digital, who gifts Glizzy with a booming backdrop to do his bidding over, this deep cut has the makings of yet another fan-favorite in the rapper's discography.

03 Greedo: Still Summer In The Projects

"10 Purple Summers"

03 Greedo gives listeners an up-close view of life in the projects with this opening salvo from the Cali rep's recent long player. Produced by DJ Mustard, who constructs a riveting amalgam of sounds, this party-starter comes with an ample amount of grit, showcasing Greedo's versatility in full.

"Trap House"

DJ Mustard helms the boards on this trap-inspired anthem from 03 Greedo's new body of work, which finds the embattled star phoning in a few of his Cali cohorts to join in on the festivities. Featuring Shorline Mafia, this collaboration finds 03 Greedo flexing his melodic vocals, as the west coaster plays a more complimentary role on the album's second song.

"Wasted"

03 Greedo takes his talents to the strip club with this turnt-up banger, which finds the rapper popping bottles while surrounded by exotic dancers in the midst his debauchery. Produced by DJ Mustard and featuring YG, there's a good chance that this song will have dollar bills flying in the air at your favorite gentleman's establishment.
