The countdown for Disney's live-action remake of "The Lion King" is officially underway with just 100 days left until the film hits theaters on July 19.

On Tuesday (April 10), the studio took a moment to remind fans of such by dropping the first full-length trailer narrated by the legendary James Earl Jones. The 88-year-old actor will reprise his role as Mufasa in the movie.

In the stunning, nearly 2-minute clip, fans get a sneak peek at all of the beloved characters from the animated original, including Simba (voiced by Donald Glover), Scar (voiced by "12 Years a Slave" star Chiwetel Ejiofor), Nala (voiced by Beyoncé), Zazu (voiced by John Oliver), Timon (voiced by Billy Eichner), and Pumbaa (voiced by Seth Rogen).

Although none of their voices are actually heard besides Jones' and Ejiofor's, we get to see how the live-action remake will interpolate the 1994 film of the same name. As of now, it appears Disney will keep things traditional by following the same storyline we know and love. The trailer includes familiar scenes like the tragic stampede and Simba's romantic reunion with Nala as adult lions.

Towards the end of the trailer, viewers are treated to what seems to be singing from Eichner and Rogen as Timon and Pumbaa singing the classic tune "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" from the original.

As expected, the official trailer was more than enough to get moviegoers excited about the live-action version all over again.

Fans took to Twitter to tweet their excitement with one user named Kris writing, "OMG THE STAMPEDE SCENE IS GOING TO LOOK TOO REAL AND IT IS GOING TO ABSOLUTELY DESTROY ME." Same, Kris, same.
