Meek Mill continues to rack up career accolades, give back to his community and inspire others to be great. On top of recently being granted his own holiday weekend in his hometown of Philadelphia, the rapper has yet another incredible milestone to celebrate.

As reported, Meek's latest album, Championships, has officially been certified platinum. The project, which was released on Nov. 30, 2018, doubled as both Meek's fourth studio album and his first since being released from jail due to a probation violation ruling that made countless national headlines and subsequently sparked a dialogue regarding criminal justice reform.

Taking to Instagram, Meek celebrated the news his No. 1 album has now been certified platinum, writing, "Championships went platinum! Thank you to my supporters!"

The album, which featured guest appearances from JAY-Z, Drake, Rick Ross, Ella Mai and more, has officially sold over one million copies. Meek, who is currently on his Motivation Tour promoting the project, has recently brought out surprise guests including Drake, Fabulous, Yo Gotti and Lil Uzi Vert, to name a few.

Meek Mill's very own weekend has also officially begun in Philadelphia. He took to Twitter to celebrate, even taking advantage of the opportunity to ask a special favor.

"If it's meek mill weekend can I get a pass to ride my dirt bikes in the streets of philly for 2 days?" he posed. "I'm dying to ride right now!"

While his legion of fans appreciated the humor, many flooded his mentions to advise him to stay off his bike, as taking a joyride on his dirt bike initially is what led his latest arrest. As a result, the rapper was sentenced to two to four years in prison due to the minor violations of his probation conditions in his decade-old gun and drug possession case. After spending months in jail, the rapper finally had a court order his release.

In January, Meek Mill launched his Reform Alliance alongside JAY-Z and others. The coalition aims to lobby for widespread change across the criminal justice system, particularly in areas such as probation and parole laws.

Congrats to Meek Mill for garnering W after W, all while keeping his focus on bettering the country with his advocacy efforts.
