After battling a lawsuit connected to a failed restaurant endeavor in Georgia, T.I. has come out on top with a new legal victory.

As reported, the Atlanta veteran found himself on the receiving end of a lawsuit filed by several former employees from his Scales 925 restaurant, which opened in 2015 and closed down the following year. In the aftermath of the restaurant closing its doors, his ex-employees filed a $600K lawsuit accusing the rapper of fraud, as well as went on to seek unpaid wages and overtime.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the lawsuit is being dropped and the outstanding case against T.I. will officially be dismissed as a result. The rapper-entrepreneur also noted that the ex-employees were not promised anything in return for their decision to drop the case.

The lawsuit, which was filed last year by several former employees, initially alleged that T.I. and his partners used money from the restaurant for their own personal gain, as well as paid themselves irrationally high salaries despite the business struggling financially. The suit was then amended after the restaurant filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy with former employees looking for unpaid wages and overtime.

Recently, after the airing of HBO's "Leaving Neverland" documentary, T.I. came to the defense of the late Michael Jackson. The film centers on the disturbing allegations of child molestation, leading Tip to share his two cents on the matter and speak on behalf of the King of Pop.

"Let this man speak for himself to defend his legacy. Don't just listen to one side and expect to find truth," he stated on Instagram. "Oh that's right...Dead men can't speak. So what was the point again? Destroy another strong black historical LEGEND?!?!"

T.I. then doubles down on his belief the documentary is part of an agenda to tear down black culture, calling for others to reexamine the legacies of white historical fixtures such as Elvis Presley.
