Bow Wow has been arrested following a fight with on-again, off-again girlfriend, model Kiyomi Leslie.

USA Today reports that on Feb. 2, police were called to an address in Midtown Atlanta at around 4:15 am local time. When they arrived, Kiyomi Leslie (real name Leslie Holden) told authorities that she had been assaulted by Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss). When officers spoke to Moss, he said Holden attacked him. Because they both had "visible minor injuries," officers were unable to identify the primary aggressor, so both parties were arrested and charged with battery.

Shortly after the arrest, Bow was released on an $8k bond. It's currently unclear if Holden has been released. Her bond was also set at $8k, according to TMZ.

Following the incident, Bow Wow's attorney, Joe S. Habachy, released a statement to WSB-TV saying Bow Wow was wrongfully arrested after being "beaten by an out-of-control intoxicated female."

"Shad Bow Wow Moss was wrongfully arrested earlier this morning for the first time after being beaten by an out of control intoxicated female, Ms. Leslie Holden, in an Atlanta condominium," the statement read. "The only two independent witnesses both corroborated his version of events indicating that Ms. Holden was simply out of control and was without a doubt the primary aggressor. For no logical reason officers arrested both parties despite having clear-cut evidence that Bow Wow was the victim in the case. Ms. Holden beat him with a lamp, bit him on his side, and spit on him while Bow Wow continually made efforts to avoid her. Bow Wow suffered multiple injuries, some of which are visible in his mugshot. Ms. Holden's mugshot on the other hand speaks for itself, despite her allegation to police that she broke a fingernail."

Meanwhile, Bow Wow was spotted leaving Magic City Strip Club in Atlanta, but refused to answer any questions about the incident.
