Kanye West has been having an eventful new year so far and in true form, he has plenty to say about it. According to a new development as publicized on his Twitter account, the rapper is looking to chop it up with famed podcast host Joe Rogan.
"Spoke with Joe Rogan," West shared on Twitter (Jan. 1). "Podcast coming soon."
While no additional details have been confirmed as of yet, the rapper does seem excited by the prospect of switching mediums and conversing with Rogan on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast sometime in the near future.
Judging from the content his Twitter page has been playing host to lately; West may elaborate on his political stance, why he's embracing wearing the MAGA hat once again, his ongoing beef with Drake and the news that he is welcoming his fourth child with Kim Kardashian via surrogate.
In related news, West was rumored to be in talks regarding headlining at Coachella 2019. However, after the festival announced its official lineup for its next installment this April, fans were quick to notice West's name was nowhere in sight.
According to TMZ, negotiations fizzled out due to a disagreement pertaining to the stage setup. As reported, West did not want to perform on the festival's traditional 40 x 60 foot stage, explaining that to do so would be "artistically limiting."
After organizers landed on the decision not to compromise the festival stage set-up, the parties decided to mutually part ways.
West has built a reputation on his innovative live performances, ranging from performing on a floating platform above the audience on his most recent "Saint Pablo Tour" to doing his thing inside a rectangular glass box as part of the Kids See Ghosts performance at Camp Flog Gnaw.
Interestingly enough, the same organizers who worked with Tyler, The Creator's Camp Glog Gnaw festival are also behind Coachella.
