Kanye West fans barely had a two-month vacation from the rapper sharing his political commentary on Twitter. After making the statement that he would be distancing himself from politics, West has instead kicked off the new year by returning to old tendencies, including unabashedly endorsing Donald Trump.

The multifaceted creative took to social media to retweet countless posts pertaining to the topic, as well as sprinkled in a couple messages of his own. West let fans know exactly where he stands in 2019 to avoid any confusion on the subject.

"Trump all day," he wrote, beginning a series of tweets. "Just so in 2019 you know where I stand."

He also shared some additional insight into why he is standing with the president, whom he claims he shares "dragon energy" with.

"One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can't tell me what to do because I'm black," he tweeted, going on to pledge that he is planning on wearing his MAGA hat during live shows. "That's real racism. From now on I'm performing with my mutherf—king hat on."

West's endorsement has even reached Washington, D.C. According to reports, Trump returned the sentiment by bringing West's name into the first cabinet meeting of the year.

According to the journalists in attendance, the meeting went on for over an hour and covered a range of topics including incoming Utah Sen. Mitt Romney's critical Washington Post op-ed, Syria and the rapper. Per CNBC political correspondent Ylan Q. Mui, Trump referred to West as a "smart, good guy."

Pusha-T recently shared in an interview that West had taken a break from wearing the MAGA hat, an update many fans found relief in.
