Rihanna is the latest artist to take a stand against Donald Trump and more specifically, the music he and his team choose to play at their rallies.

Just about a week after Pharrell sent the president a cease and desist letter to stop playing his song "Happy," Rihanna was alerted that she, too, had made the playlist cut without being informed previously and without giving permission.

Philip Rucker, the White House bureau chief for Washington Post, took to Twitter to talk about how Trump's rallies are "unlike anything else in politics." He even revealed that Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music" was playing in live time at the event. Almost instantly, the singer's mentions were swarmed by fans alerting her of the situation. Naturally, the Bajan singer was quick to shut it down.

"Not for much longer...me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up philip!" Rihanna tweeted in response to Rucker's post.

Prior to condemning Trump for co-opting her music, Rihanna used her platform to endorse Florida's Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.

"You have the opportunity to make history this election," she wrote on Instagram. "The US has only had four black governors in its entire history, and we can help make #AndrewGillum the next one and Florida's first!"

Other artists, such as The Rolling Stones, Adele and Queen, among others, have also requested Trump not use their music. However, this pattern will likely continue as we head into campaign season for the next presidential election year.

FLORIDA: You have the opportunity to make history this election. The US has only had four black Governors in its entire history, and we can help make #AndrewGillum the next one and Florida’s first! If you’re tired of feeling like you don’t matter in the political process, know the most important thing you can do in supporting a candidate is finding someone who will take on critical issues such as: making minimum wage a livable wage, paying teachers what their worth, ensuring criminal justice reform, making healthcare a right, and repealing Stand Your Ground. That’s a platform we MUST support. Let’s #bringithome, Florida. Vote @andrewgillum. And VOTE YES on Amendment 4 to restore voting rights to folks who have already paid their debt to society. VOTE on November 6th!
