Another testament to their respective reigning influences, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have been trending for the better part of the last 24 hours. Both have made countless headlines during this timeframe for lashing out at one another on social media. Fans have since been weighing in and flooding the mentions of both rappers.
However, their ongoing tension, which reached new heights following the now-infamous altercation at 2018 New York Fashion Week this fall, appears to now be at a peaceful standstill after escalating even further on social media on Monday (Oct. 29).
The Queen rapper added fuel to the fire during an episode of her Queen Radio show on Apple Music Beats 1 yesterday, offering $100,000 for any leaked footage of the interaction between Cardi and her friend Rah Ali. She explained that it wasn't security that gave Cardi B a knot on her forehead after the incident like many previously thought. Instead, Minaj stated that Ali was the one who inflicted the damage.
"Rah really beat Cardi's ass bad," Minaj said. "You went home and told people security hit you and we let that ride for legal reasons."
Elsewhere during the radio show, Minaj also made a series of additional claims about how Cardi B stepped in to prevent Offset and 21 Savage from doing a video with her for their collaboration with London on da Track. The "Barbie Dreams" rapper also alleged that Cardi stopped 21 Savage from appearing on the remix to "Krippy Kush" (Travis Scott appeared on the song instead). Minaj also further claimed that Cardi had previously asked her to appear on "her second single." But, Minaj turned it down because "MotorSport" was dropping around the same time.
After catching wind of the fact that Minaj was speaking on her name during the radio program, Cardi took to Instagram to share a series of nearly a dozen posts talking about the situation and rebuking Minaj's claims.
"You lie so much you can't keep up with your fuckin' lies," Cardi said in one of the clips. "First you say you've got the footage, but then you say you wanna pay somebody $100,000 if they give you the footage? Yo, make sense when you're talking!"
After proposing that they both take a lie detector test to sort this out or have this conversation live for the world to hear, Minaj then explained she's done talking about it and is choosing to focus on the positives.
"I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people, but I won't be discussing this nonsense anymore," she wrote.
Cardi then promptly took a screenshot of the tweet and posted her own caption in agreement, writing, "Alright then! Let's keep it positive and keep it pushing!"
While time will tell whether or not this is the end of the bad blood between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, at least things are paused on a positive note... for now.
Whew. Catch up on the heated exchanges between the pair, as well as see their possible peace offering, in the posts below.
The only rapper in the history of rap who can only talk about deals and songs she’s supposedly turned down cuz she can’t talk about a verse she’s ever written. Fkn fraud— QUEEN (@NICKIMINAJ) October 30, 2018
We can...— QUEEN (@NICKIMINAJ) October 30, 2018

I’ll pay you to take a lie detector test about every claim I made on #QueenRadio. You won’t. I must admit you’re a convincing liar. You looked me dead in my face & said you told ya man not to do the “no flags” video cuz I was dissing you. London on da Track got the same call.— QUEEN (@NICKIMINAJ) October 30, 2018
Ok you guys, let’s focus on positive things only from here on out. We’re all so blessed. I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people but I won’t be discussing this nonsense anymore. Thank you for the support & encouragement year after year. Love you. ♥️— QUEEN (@NICKIMINAJ) October 30, 2018
