6ix9ine will avoid both jail time and the requirement to register as a sexual offender for charges stemming from his 2015 arrest for the "use of a child in a sexual performance."

In a Manhattan court today (October 26), he was instead sentenced by Judge Felicia A. Mennin to four years probation (with credit for one year previously served). He is required to complete 1,000 hours of community service, and must also refrain from any additional arrests, gang activity or affiliation, and the posting (or reposting) of sexually explicit or violent images of women or children online.

In October 2015, as part of a "youthful offender" plea agreement, the rapper pleaded guilty to the charge after three videos surfaced online of the then-18-year-old engaging in sexual acts with a 13-year-old-girl, including groping her while she was in her underwear.

He told The Breakfast Club earlier this year that he pleaded guilty because "I was scared, blood. I didn't have no money. I was poor. Listen, I was rapping, but I wasn't on some hot shit."
