Until then, here are three of our favorite moments from 2017.

Diddy reflects on The Notorious B.I.G.'s Life After Death album

On the 20th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.'s death, friend and frequent collaborator Diddy reflected on his late homie and how much he missed him. Diddy spoke about still discovering hidden messages and metaphors in Biggie's music, which fascinated Puff because he's worked on the late Brooklyn MC's music from day one. As millions of hip hop lovers already knows, Biggie was Puff's first signee on the infamous Bad Boy Records. The mogul even stated that not knowing whether Biggie would've become even more of an incredible MC is extremely sad to him. R.I.P. to Biggie Smalls.

Kendrick Lamar at "Rolling Loud"

In 2017, Kendrick Lamar released his critically acclaimed DAMN. album completely shattered the hip hop world with its release. So, when Lamar performed at Rolling Loud, the Cali rapper definitely shut the stage down. The MC was full of energy when he blasted some of his album's bangers like "DNA." and "PRIDE.," as well as previously released hits like "Alright," "Swimming Pools" and much more. The performance was so lit, Diddy was even seen rocking to it in the crowd.
