Ever since he and his brother Malice bumrushed the rap scene in 2002 with their debut album, Lord Willin', Pusha T has been touted as one of the more masterful wordsmiths in the entire genre. Notorious for his musings about life as a wholesale coke dealer and the wry wit in which he delivers his verses, despite releasing a pair of classic albums as part of the Clipse, the Virginia repper has long left rap enthusiasts pondering the levels of greatness he could also accomplish as a soloist. The hip-hop community would have their wishes granted when Pusha T and Malice decided to go on hiatus after the release of their third studio album Til the Casket Drops, giving Pusha T the opportunity to branch out creatively.

Linking with Kanye West and signing a deal with GOOD Music in 2010, Pusha T announced his highly-anticipated debut album, My Name is My Name, the following year, but after a series of false starts and push-backs, the album would finally be liberated on October 8, 2013. Debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 74,000 copies sold in its first week, My Name is My Name would be a critical success, with many tastemakers and fans alike billing it as one of the superior rap albums of the year. Led by the singles "Numbers on the Board" and the Chris Brown-assisted "Sweet Serenade," and rounded out by high-powered collaborations with the likes of Kendrick Lamar ("Nosetalgia"), Rick Ross ("Hold On"), 2 Chainz and Big Sean ("Who I Am"), Future ("Pain"), and Pharrell Williams ("S.N.I.T.C.H."), MNIMN made it clear that Pusha T is more than capable of delivering an album by his own devices as he is in a group and is considered by many to be a modern day classic.

In celebration of its five year anniversary, REVOLT TV gave Pusha T's solo debut a spin, took a trip down memory lane and highlighted 20 of the more memorable lyrics from My Name is My Name that left rap fiends with the sniffles.

"I build mine off fed time and dope lines / You caught steam off headlines and co-signs / Young niggas cliquing up with my rivals / Like the Bible don't burn, like these bullets don't spiral / Like I can't see the scenes that you mirror in your idol / But a pawn's only purpose is completely suicidal / Ooh! Suicide, it's a suicide / I'm just talking to the world like it's you and I"

"Unpolished, unapologetic / Big willie with the blow, niggas, I am legend / School of hard knock, I attended / Selling hard rock, fuck who I offended / I was a goner, punished by karma / Called him tar baby, now he's transcending genres / The 911 came with the ass shots / A toothless crackhead was the mascot / The owner of the key to that padlock / I'm Jordan versus Cavs for the last shot"
