When it comes to securing the bag, today's hip-hop artists are excelling in expanding their ventures, forming wise partnerships and educating the next generation on how to follow in their lucrative footsteps.

Today (Sept. 13), Forbes published their annual list ranking this year's highest-earning rappers. According to the finance publication, the top 10 on the list averaged making $44 million this past year.

With hip-hop now solidified as the most popular genre in the U.S., the culture's influence is everywhere, providing ample opportunities for artists across generations to build their bank accounts up.

Per Forbes, JAY-Z is in the lead, hauling in a monumental $76.5 million, with much of his income stemming from the release of 4:44 and his sold-out 'OTRII' tour run.

Coming in second this year is Sean "Diddy" Combs, who yielded $65 million for his array of business ventures, including Ciroc vodka, DeLeon tequila and Aquahydrate alkaline water.

Rounding out the top 5 is Kendrick Lamar, Drake and J. Cole, respectively earning $58M, $47M and $35.5M. Also on the list is Dr. Dre and Nas (tied at $35M), Pitbull ($32M), Future ($30M) and Kanye West ($27.5M). Other names making the cut include Travis Scott ($19.5M), Logic ($21M), Meek Mill and Russ (tied at $15M).

Unfortunately, no cash queens were present for 2018.
