Cardi B's debut album, Invasion of Privacy, is finally here and already certified gold. Really.

The much-talked about debut album arrived late last night (April 5) and, in less than 24 hours, picked up a gold certification by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 units. The big feat is based on a technicality, according to Forbes and Chart Data. As the latter noted, 10 track units equal one album sale. So with the massive success behind "Bodak Yellow," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and is certified 5-times platinum, Invasion of Privacy has moved 500,000 units based on the strength of Cardi's Grammy-nominated single.

In addition to that, "Bartier Cardi," the second single off the album, was awarded a platinum certification for sales of over 1 million units. "Bartier" is now one of four platinum-selling records for the rapper. Her collaborations with Bruno Mars ("Finessin'") and G-Eazy ("No Limit") are already multi-platinum sets.

Despite the big push, the sales from "Bodak Yellow" won't be counted toward Invasion of Privacy's first-week sales. Still, the news behind the album hitting gold is already adding extra froth to the bubbling excitement behind Cardi's long-awaited release.
