R. Kelly began training a young teen to be one of sex "pets" at the age of 14, according to a former girlfriend.
Kitti Jones, who unveiled troubling details about her time with the singer in an interview with Rolling Stone last year, appears in a new BBC3 documentary, titled ["R. Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes,"] where she says the singer forced her and other women to have sex with him in a "sex dungeon." She also revealed that Kelly groomed an underage girl to be his sex "pet."
"I was introduced to one of the girls [in the 'dungeon'] that he told me he 'trained' since she was 14, those were his words," said Jones, as reported by The Guardian. "I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I'd say and her mannerisms were like mine. That's when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. He calls them his pets."
Jones said Kelly made the unnamed woman "crawl on the floor towards me and perform oral sex on me, and he said, 'This is my fucking pet, I trained her. She's going to teach you how to be with me.'"
The statement mirrors what Jones also told RS last year about the singer's habit of coercing the women into having sex with each other. "Ninety-nine percent of the time, I didn't want to do it and I would tell him I didn't want to do it," she said in the in-depth 2017 story. "You just become numb to what's happening. It's so traumatic the things that he makes you do to other people and to him."
The documentary, which is set to air Wednesday in the U.K., comes less than a year after Kelly was accused of hosting an abusive sex "cult" at his home by some of the parents of women who were believed to have been recruited by Kelly to live in his rented properties in Chicago and Atlanta.
In February, Kelly was evicted from the homes in Atlanta. As reported, the singer was booted from two of his Atlanta homes for unpaid rent.
