On Saturday (March 24) millions participated in over 800 sister March For Our Lives rallies around the world, gathering to denounce gun violence and send a message to legislators that something has got to change.

In Washington D.C., the March for Our Lives protest drew a crowd in the hundreds of thousands, with many in attendance equipped with impactful protest signs and others ready to chant until their voices gave out.

Throughout the afternoon, a handful of student survivors from February's high school shooting took to the podium to give emotional and heartfelt speeches while artists such as Common, Andra Day, Vic Mensa, Jennifer Hudson and more helped support the movement with their music.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s 9-year-old granddaughter Yolanda Renee King participated as well, calling for others to remember the words of her legendary grandfather and stating that she herself dreams "that enough is enough, and that this should be a gun-free world, period."

Additionally, 11-year-old Naomi Wadler, who led her elementary school's walkout on March 14 to help bring attention to gun violence, also spoke, explaining how Black girls are often left out of the conversation, adding, "I'm here to say 'never again' for those girls, too."

Parkland student Emma Gonzales was also among those who spoke, leading a six-plus minute moment of silence to signify the amount of time it took for the gunman to kill 17 people at her high school.

While the national dialogue regarding gun legislation is fated to continue, the March for Our Lives rally certainly got the message across that #EnoughIsEnough.
