The Sanchez brothers, better known as duo 2 Crucial, send a playful warning to the fellas on their newly-released ditty "Thot."

"The inspiration is we ain't cuffing no thot," said 20-year-old JR, the older of the two siblings, while sitting in the REVOLT studios. "'Cause it's a lot of thots out here, but you don't want to get up with no thot. So don't cuff no thot, basically."

"That's basically what we tellin them, 'don't cuff no thot.' It's bad for your health," Chezzo, 19, added. "You don't wanna do that."

Doubling down on the theme, the brothers said they recently shot the visual in West End Atlanta with, you guessed it, "We had a couple thots come out." Chezzo added, "Some of them was friends. I ain't gonna say all of them were thots. The video is lit. Y'all gonna see."

JR and Chezzo have been in front of the cameras for a few years now upon making their debut on Season 1 of Jermaine Dupri's The Rap Game. They we're featured prominently on the season's soundtrack via "I Set Trends" which also featured cast members Supa Peach, Lil Niqo, Young Lyric a.k.a Lyrikkal, Lil Poopy, and eventual inaugural winner Miss Mulatto.

"Be prepared at all times," JR advised when discussing what he learned about filming for television. "Have your craft right. [The producers] actually said we was good. After we were recording they said, 'Y'all was perfect.' That was our first time. Every take, we had the same energy. It turned out good."

2 Crucial grew up in Atlanta's West End and spent a lot of time being raised by their grandmother while their dad—who now oversees their careers—was incarcerated. Though they started recording and shooting their own videos six years ago, they began rapping at eight years old, and were highly influenced by Cash Money's Hot Boys. "That's all we listened to," Chezzo said.

2 Crucial's latest project is Set Trends 2 and they have been fielding offers from an assortment of labels from Future's FreeBandz to Capital Records.
