Juelz Santana may have got himself in some hot water this weekend.
According to reports, the rapper allegedly ran out of New Jersey's Newark Airport Friday night (March 9) after TSA officials discovered that there was a loaded gun in his bag around 6pm.
Per NBC4 New York, the Dipset veteran was detected by authorities and soon ran off, leaving his luggage (and the firearm) behind. He reportedly may have gotten into a taxi.
As reported, the Port Authority Police Department is currently looking for Santana. According to TSA regulations, bringing a weapon to an airport security checkpoint is punishable by a hefty fine, sometimes nearing $10,000, and depending on the circumstance, could lead to an arrest.
While Santana nor a representative has yet to comment on the matter on his behalf, the incident doesn't mark his first possible run-in with the law. The 36-year-old previously was arrested on narcotics and weapons charges back in 2011 after police raided his Santana's World studios, as well as was placed on probation for two years after an incident where he threatened a neighbor in 2013.
