Joe Budden has been in his share of disputes with rappers like Drake and Migos, but he doesn't believe that his Shady Records boss Eminem was dissing him on the latter's remix to "Chloraseptic."

On Tuesday (Jan. 9), Eminem released a remix of his Revival song "Chloraseptic" with Phresher and 2 Chainz, who was reportedly supposed to be on the original version of the song. On the song, Eminem took shots at critics who spoke out against the album. After he dropped the song, Eminem's D12 groupmate Bizarre implied that Eminem was referring to Budden. On his own podcast and on REVOLT TV's This Year Was Dope / Trash, after Charlamagne listed Eminem as one of the worst rappers of the year, Budden expressed disappointment in the single "Untouchable" while admitting that he hadn't heard the full Revival album yet.

"So here's my question: why do people think he's talking about me? Because I heard it now, I finally heard it," Budden asked. Rory and Mal responded by noting the visibility of the podcast, and stating that the podcast spoke about the topic of how many people disliked the premise of the album, and its pop star lineup of guests, from before it was even released.

"But I defended Eminem the whole way," Budden said. "I still haven't heard the album yet."

"I want to dig into it. This is how I like to judge music. I like to see if the music hits the way you intended it to hit, not at the time that you intended it to hit. Timeless. So I try not to get caught up in hype and marketing machines," Budden continued. "But I couldn't trash the album I never heard. And I was the lone person that defended the tracklist. So much so that people said, 'you're dickriding. You're biased, you won't say nothing.'"

Budden then praised Eminem's verse on the "Chloraseptic" remix, said that 50 Cent only chimed in because he had a new film to promote (the Gerard Butler and O'Shea Jackson Jr.-costarring Den of Thieves, which hits theaters on Jan. 19), and that while he had beef with D12 years back, that he resolved the issue and toured with them. He then said that Bizarre hasn't spoken to Eminem in more than a decade (an allegation that Bizarre denied on Twitter), and that called Bizarre's defense of Eminem as "false alliance."

Budden closed the segment by saying that while he doesn't have any issues with Bizarre or Eminem, that there's another anonymous rapper who he's ready to battle if he states his name.
