Saturday night's episode of SNL (Nov. 18) was surely a not-to-miss televised affair.

With Chance the Rapper tapped to host and Eminem recruited as the evening's musical guest, this week's SNL was full of epic moments, light-hearted laughs and admittedly, some confusion from Em fans when his performance yielded no release date or news regarding his highly anticipated forthcoming album, Revival.

As host, Chance showcased his signature charm, reminding fans how, in addition to being an excellent rapper, he really is the full package when it comes to being an entertainer.

During his opening monologue, the 24-year-old rapper declared he wants to be the "Mariah Carey of Thanksgiving," going on to sing a hilarious holiday-themed song and further solidify his new reputation as the face and voice of Thanksgiving, all while being thankful for the coins the seasonal hit single could bring in.

"Mariah Carey is at that tree lighting every year singing 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' and it's not 'cause she loves giant trees," Chance began. "It's 'cause she loves having a third assistant whose only job is to yell at her second assistant. I want to become the Mariah Carey of Thanksgiving. I want my song to honor what's truly special about this holiday: how it's the one time a year that you invite all your relatives to dinner, even the ones you can't stand. So all you outcasts and weirdos in the family, this one's for you."

After breaking into song, a handful of the cast of SNL came out to join him, with the episode officially underway.

Chance appeared in a slew of skits throughout the episode, with many fans complimenting his performance on social media, especially the skit centered on Barack Obama in the form of a 1990s-esque slow jam ode titled, "Come Back, Barack."

Other skits included a play on _Family Feud, a Batman-themed episode where Chance plays a teenage from Gotham City and skits where Chano plays a pizza delivery guy/porn star, an eager student and an old school rapper, among others.
